Has Anyone Seen My Sunglasses?

i lost my sunglasses over the weekend at a wedding in San Francisco. they were black, Dolce and Gabanna. not knock-offs. my heart beat twice (then promptly went back to normal) when I signed the credit card receipt during purchase. if you happen to find them I will be your best friend and invite you to my birthday.

after that they went into Paul's suit jacket pocket. this is Paul passed out in my lap on the shuttle ride home:


i just can't figure out what could have happened.

Paul asked if I lost them on purpose to make way for the new gucci aviators they just got in at Nordstroms. but it's not true. yes i tried them on. yes i had the sales woman write the style number down. but that does not mean a girl goes and loses a perfectly good pair of sunglasses on purpose. case in point - here are my sunglasses on our camping trip the weekend before the SF trip:



any serious sportswoman knows you would not bring Gucci aviators on a camping trip. and i love camping, so i rest my case.

but now i do need new sunglasses. the model number for the gucci aviators is CH4132. just in case anyone reading this blog feels partialy responsible for losing my sunglasses and loves me enough to replace them.
